In honor of Octavia Reese
Our lives were forever changed with the news of Octavia's passing. Octavia Marie-Madeleine Reese was a true force of nature. Her incomparable skills and talents as an artist, author, musician, tech innovator, content creator, digital strategist, dancer, and entrepreneur were second only to the ferocity with which she loved life and the people with whom she shared this life.
She was a loyal friend, a loving mother, and we miss her immensely.
Her friends and family have come together to create this site to honor her memory and to keep those who loved her updated about upcoming events where we will celebrate and honor her memory.
Join us for two events in May of 2025 to celebrate Octavia’s light, life and love
Octavia's brilliance as an artist, storyteller, innovator, and community builder has left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her spirit and vision continue to inspire us every day, and this May, we are coming together to celebrate her legacy through a Virtual Celebration of Life on May 3rd at 12pm CST and in-person art exhibit, Abracadabra: An Exhibition Celebrating Octavia Reese, in Chicago opening May 17th at 6pm.
Both events are family friendly events and we encourage you to bring your friends and family.
